Photo Shoot with Andrew Volk

This weekend was hella crazy. Followed by a wholesaling final and final project presentation today too, only one more class this week and it's almost breathe time...after more finals in another couple weeks...

Wearing: lace headband (H&M), vintage silk scarf (Pierre Cardin), vintage mink fur stole (Great Grandmother), black camisole (The Gap), black velvet skinny pants (Zara), vintage black ballet flats (not pictured)

So, as previously mentioned I'm currently taking a styling class at BMC with Tyler Udall and last week I styled a photo shoot (I also did hair/makeup) of two different looks for my final assignment which was photographed by Andrew Volk. Today I got my C.D with some of the best shots; it was a grunge inspired shoot with the stunning Chelsea Leadbetter as my female model and Evan Ducharme as my male. These were my favorite shots of the bunch

I achieved what I had wanted to with this shoot. Taking grunge inspired clothing and using juxtaposition with the pretty flower area outside of the church we shot at, not to mention making use of the 'Cathedral Staff' sign making it kind of humorous. I was glad my models looked too pretty to be dirty/grungy because it tied everything in quite nicely. I had a lot of fun with this shoot and glad I was working with such great people.

All for this evening my budding fashionistas, one love.
