SOLD Design Lab Denim

While browsing my favorite blog What is Reality Anyway? by Krystal Simpson (who, by the way is one of my ultimate fashion inspirations and if you aren't already following her, you should be). A few days ago she mentioned SOLD Design Lab sending her over a few pairs of their denims.

"Sold Design Lab has sent over a few different pairs of pull on jeans over the past year, and I now I sware by them, they are the miracle jean because; 1. they make you look skinnier, which is never a bad thing, and 2. they don't stretch out and get all droopy in wrong places--success!"- Krystal (whatisrealityanyway)

Denims that stretch out are my ultimate pet-peeve. I don't like to wash my denim after just one wear (the joys of sharing laundry facilities in an apartment complex) but find 9/10 times I have to... because they start to sag (in the knees and bum especially). So I immediately headed over to SOLD Design Lab to check out some denims myself. I've already managed to get a fairly lengthy wishlist going.



THE SOLD DESIGN LAB STORY

SOLD Design Lab established its mark on the premium denim world in Fall of 2010. Their goal has been to create great fitting jeans using innovative technology, amazing fabrics and classic core mixed with forward styling all at an easy price point for today’s market.

SOLD Design Lab is under the umbrella of the 1721 Group. Founded by Mel Geliebter, one of L.A.’s top denim mavens, the Company has quickly capitalized on its years of experience in the denim arena bringing to market several innovative products through the launch of its Sold Design Lab brand. Mel Geliebter is now passing on his method and legacy of knowledge to his son Mike Geliebter and son in-law Daryl Rosenberg, who have continued on Mel’s path creating breakthrough denim products like their virtual stretch denim. SOLD Design Lab will carry on and bring ingenuity and modern creativity into the premium denim market by being as their name states, a design lab first, which in turn will have everyone SOLD.

Fortunately for me, there is one store in Vancouver (Plenty Stores Inc) where I can score a pair of these babies when I return home.
